History

The Persian Cultural Club (PCC)is a tax-exempt non-profit organization incorporated in the State of California on October 28, 2002. PCC has had a very successful first two years in operation due to the assistance of the Alavi Foundation, the selfless commitment of the PCC administrators, and the support of the San Francisco Bay Area Iranian-American community.

Vision

Our vision is to serve the San Francisco Bay Area Iranian-American community by identifying the neds of the community and designing and implementing program services that will allow us to meet those needs. Our staff is highly dedicated to this vision and since our inception has worked enthusiastically toward making this vision a reality.

Mission

The mission of the PersianCultural Club is to promote Iranian culture, language, literature and arts in the northern California Iranian-American comunity through providing classes and activities for children and adults.

Administration Matters

From an administraive perspective, in our first year in operation we experienced some of the growing pains typical of many newly founded non-profit organizations. We learned much from that growth experience, however, and emerged as a more viable organization. Among the improvements we implemented our standardized administrative processes and procedures as well as systems for accurate record keeping and responsible financial management . In short, we have established a strong base on which to continue our growth.
